For a couple of shoots, we supplemented the footage with a small 1080P camera when we needed to get certain angles that were impractical with the big 4K camera. Starting in March 2015, we switched to a new system with more compact 4K cameras that are enabling us to capture more angles and more moments in all 4K.

They are mp4 files encoded in the H.264 video format. These files are very large, unfortunately, and can take several hours to download, but the quality is amazing. In the future, we will likely switch to a newer video format, such as H.265, but we are waiting for technology to catch up to the new formats before we use them.
